Robert brings a wealth of fundraising knowledge and leadership drawn from both local and international contexts. Since 2016, he has worked in educational advancement, starting as Development Manager at King’s College, where he led significant fundraising initiatives. His earlier experience spans marketing, sponsorship, membership engagement and major event delivery across New Zealand and the United Kingdom — including global sporting events such as Rugby World Cup 2011 and the Motor Sport Hall of Fame.
Robert holds a Bachelor of Sport and Recreation (Management) and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Administration Management and Marketing. He is a Fellow of Educate Plus, a recognition of his leadership, expertise, and ongoing contribution to advancement in the education sector.
With a career rooted in purpose-driven work, Robert is passionate about strengthening the fundraising capacity of not-for-profit, charitable, and educational organisations. He has a strong track record in designing and delivering sustainable, high-impact fundraising strategies — from annual giving programmes to capital campaigns — and is skilled in board and volunteer engagement, major donor stewardship, corporate partnerships, and strategic project planning.
